GUIDE TO
PLANNING
BETTER
EVENTS

The Barista League puts on some of the most well-organized and professionally run events I have ever been a part of. And this book tells you how to do it! With SO many moving variables in event planning, I’ve inevitably had the thought, “I wish someone had explained this one thing to me,” or, “I wish I knew about this one thing sooner.” This book does an excellent job of breaking down each aspect of coffee event planning so that you know what you are getting yourself into before you start!

THE WORLD’S WORST TIMED BOOK…

Back in 2019 we wrote a book. It was part manifesto and part handbook about how to plan an amazing event. We got contributions from some of our amazing friends who run, support and participate in our events and even created a fully digital resource kit to kick start your event planning career. The idea was to be able to contribute some of our hard learnt lessons and experience to passionate and creative coffee people who wanted to help bolster and bring together their community.

We were so proud of the book and just as we were about to launch the world went into a prolonged lock down with two full years without any live events… (smh).

In 2022 we are still phenomenally proud of this book and constantly get great feedback about how easy to read, practical and helpful it is for someone who wants to plan an event. If you have been charged with planning an event, thinking about starting an event planning career or just want to skill up to make those boring trade shows a bit more fun and effective - this is for you.
